Sweet Disposition

These glimmering pearls
Longing to fall
From my heart
Through the eyes of my soul
Are barely imitiations

Feelings I once felt
Inviding me again
Striking me without mercy
Like hungry waves on a seashore
I feel like giving up and give in

I am almost enjoying it
What would I do
If there was nothing to eat my heart
Running without moving
Leaving it all behind

An earthquake shook my frozen soul
Even to the very ground
Whatever made my eyes sparkle
Broke all the rules
Thus it had happened again

If I could I would laugh but
As you said goodbye
I think I died a little
If I close my eyes forever
Will it all remain a dream

Maybe some day
Everything that has died in me
Will be reborn
Will live up and blossom
Like a vision

Despite of everything
This stupid heart
Goes on longing
Every shattered piece
Is still unconditionally loving

When the moon is smiling
Everything is possible
So even if the floor for pain
Seems to be bottomless
Sweet is my disposition

The only limit to our happiness is imagination
So if I surrender to the energy
Maybe the right words will come
I can only pray
I never have to look back again, ever
